Title: IT Business Systems Analyst

Salary Range: $95,000 - $130,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Systems Analyst to serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. This role will focus on understanding business needs, improving operational processes, supporting enterprise applications, and ensuring technology solutions align with organizational objectives.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience gathering requirements, facilitating stakeholder discussions, supporting ERP initiatives, and driving process improvements. You will work across multiple departments, including Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Asset Management, and Corporate Functions, while contributing to critical technology and business transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business challenges and solution opportunities.
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and process discovery meetings.
- Create and maintain business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and automation.
- Evaluate system capabilities and identify gaps between business needs and technology solutions.
- Support enterprise applications, including Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and related systems.
- Participate in application enhancements, testing, deployments, and optimization efforts.
- Troubleshoot system-related issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams and vendors.
- Support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.
- Assist with Power BI reporting requirements, KPI development, and dashboard enhancements.
- Contribute to data quality and governance initiatives.
- Develop test plans, test scripts, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Create user documentation, training materials, and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions.
Skills
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst experience.
- 3+ years supporting enterprise business applications.
- Proven experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements.
- Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or optimization initiatives.
- Strong business process analysis and process improvement skills.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions.
- Experience supporting software testing, deployments, and user adoption efforts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O)
- Power BI and enterprise reporting solutions
- Enterprise integrations and data management
- Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies
- Experience working within Manufacturing, Distribution, Construction Services, Asset Management, or Industrial Services environments
Preferred Certifications
- CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA
- Agile or Scrum certifications
- Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Business Applications
